A Massive Welcome to Harry our new Allett Apprentice!

A Massive Welcome to Harry our new Allett APPRENTICE! Another amazing milestone for Allett Mowers as we hire a new Apprentice. "Allett is a leading manufacturer of cylinder mowers. To keep us as a market leader our policy is the investment in product, development and employees. Investment in employees is a big part our strategy to keep increasing the growth of our business and improving year on year. Our policy is to develop the current skill base with new manufacturing techniques. As we are growing we now feel it is time to introduce a further apprentice into the manufacturing side of our business. By bringing Harry into the business to add to the two apprentices we took on in January 2017 it will enable us to further re-train and up-skill existing staff allowing us to tackle skill shortage areas. Also, we will be able to tailor him to specific roles within the business as we have with the other two apprentices. When apprentice’s start they are usually enthusiastic and input new ideas. This as an overall will enable us to train and develop skills with the minimum disruption to the business. Our apprentices will gain NVQ level 2 and 3 giving them the opportunity to develop their chosen career paths increasing the chances of them staying on with the business progress into team leader, supervisors or even management positions" (Dave Gibbons -Production Manager, Allett Mowers) Quickfire Questions with Harry Name- Harry Rhys Templeton, Age: 17 What were you doing before this apprenticeship?
