Q. Can you give us a little bit of background about your career?
A - I joined Allett in 2011, being a Mechanical Engineer I was drawn to an available Development Engineering role. During this time I was involved in introducing new company products, carrying out product changes and developing new ideas working alongside customers. Keen to progress within this industry, I registered and completed IEng Incorporated Engineering status to assist with my continued professional development.
Q - Where did your interest in lawn care stem from?
A - I have a keen interest in gardening and the outdoors enjoying visits to National Trust properties. I created our own garden from a blank canvas with the layouts and flowerbeds etc and now have a passion for lawn care and perfecting the perfect stripe.
Q - Do you have a favourite Allett Mower/Product?
A - My favourite machine is the C34 ... Simple to use with very effective functions. It's always a pleasure to see peoples reactions to how the cartridge system can help with their maintenance- It's a machine I'm looking forward to demonstrating out in the field.
Q - Have you got any new and exciting ideas to bring to Allett?
A - Being mechanically biased and working well with customers I hope to bring these together and working closely with Engineering bring the best ideas and products to market ultimately the ideal products that customers need to complete their ground care.

Goodbye Old Friend
We’re sorry to announce that long-standing member of the Allett family and friend, Leigh Bowers has moved on after being with Allett/Turfmech for almost 20 years. Over the years he has developed close relationships with groundsmen, home owners and dealers all over the world and has been vital in providing that trust worthy face people can trust that reflects what we want to achieve as a business. Leigh is one of the hardest working guys you could ever meet and wouldn't think twice about doing demonstrations in Scotland and Sussex in the same day! We wish Leigh good luck in whatever he does next- he will be hugely missed!
Thank you for 19 years service, Leigh.
